Understanding your options
What is home care?
Home care is non-medical support provided in the comfort of your own home. It's the hands-on, day-to-day assistance that helps people maintain their independence, stay safe, and continue living where they're most comfortable — without the disruption of moving to a facility.
It's important to understand the difference between home care and home health care. Home health care involves skilled medical services prescribed by a physician — such as wound care, physical therapy, or IV medication — and is typically covered by Medicare. What we provide is home care: supportive, non-clinical services designed to assist with everyday living. Our caregivers are not nurses or medical professionals, and we do not provide medical treatment. We work alongside your medical team to ensure you have the daily support you need to thrive.
